What to do? Cindy needed a job and her
husband, Tim, had an idea. She loved painting watercolors and always
designed original cards for him...so, why not start a card line? A few
kind-hearted shopkeepers offered advice. Tim gave a lot more. The
whole family gave moral support and Voila! Studio C was born in a
restored school house in Jericho, Vermont.
From selling eight
designs out of the trunk of the car to over 100 designs sold in stores
around the country, Studio C grew. Tim, his mom, Wendy and our friend,
Emily help with the business side of things. Even Bev, Cindy's mom and
her grandmother got involved.
Studio C offers 3 card sizes.
These come packaged in kraft paper boxes of 10 cards and recycled paper
envelopes. When possible we use clean, recycled shipping materials that
we collect from local businesses to help with our goal to "reduce,
reuse, recycle."
